P&O Arcadia Cabin E52 wheelchair accessible balcony review July 2017

P&O Arcadia so far is my favourite ship of the fleet, there is just something about her which touched me.

We did a 2 nighter to trial this ship in July 2017 and we were not disappointed. Our room I personally loved, it was very quirky with a button at the bed to open and close the curtains of the balcony!

However the room is not that big and it was right to move around in the wheelchair, the bathroom was slightly smaller than the others but the balcony again was huge but at an odd angle and difficult to get out in the wheelchair. For someone who cannot transfer I wouldn’t recommend this room to you.

I wasn’t feeling too great on this cruise, I was suffering quite a bit with pain so we took advantage of the thermal suite. The Arcadia is the only ship that has a hydrotherapy pool and it’s amazing! It’s not expensive to do and it’s wheelchair accessible and if I’m lucky enough to go back on her I will certainly be doing this again, by far the best I’ve experienced on a cruise so far.

This also was the cruise we experienced the speciality dining Sindhu and WOW amazing worth every penny extra and we always book a meal there now on every P&O cruise we do. They are very helpful and wheelchair accessible and food is out of this world!
